JT has been working hard to get his purple belt after a 5 week break from our summer vacation. He got right back into the swing of things. He always performs better at class... practice at home can be quite challenging (on me)! But when he gets to class, he rocks it!
Poppy was hoping to see him earn the purple belt while he was here. He came really close but had a few more things to perfect. Finally, he has earned his purple belt.
And the smile is PRICELESS. :)

As a reward for such hard work, Master Mendoza let them work with weapons at class! Here is JT doing a pattern with the Bo Staff! Needless to say, he was super excited!!
Of course all of this was captured on my iphone, so I apologize for it not being the best quality, but at least I got it! :)
