Sam's 100th day of school: Hard to believe, but Sam had his 100th day of school on Monday. He had to count out 100 pieces of cereal (he chose Apple Jacks) and bring it into school. He came out waving this flag. :)

On Wednesday, he had his Letter-a-Saurus lunch. He got in the letter-a-saurus club by knowing all his letters and their sounds. He was very excited to bring in his lunch and eat at school. He told me it was actually a "brunch" because they had a shortened day of school that day, so we had to make muffins for the occasion. He brought a bologna sandwich, 2 blueberry muffins, 2 dinosaur fruit snacks and a capri sun.
very happy, big boy! :)
This is JT's stop sign he made in school. He loved it. We had to go to Sprouts after I picked him up and he brought it in. He got such a kick out of making people STOP in the store. It is surprising how many people will listen to a 3 year old! When I asked him what shape it was, he said, "a bakugan" (aka an octagon!)

JT has also been very into drawing and writing. (He is following in his big brother's footsteps) So here are a few of his masterpieces lately. The biggest change in his drawings, besides the details he is using, is that he is trying to write words. He actually can write MOM, dad and JT all by himself. In this picture he wrote MOM (out of order, but it is there on the left)
In this one, he remembered how to write ELI from a few days before, but he just forgot the last letter... sometimes he writes Ms like Ws... so he put Eli and Mom together on this one.
Another masterpiece...
He is very proud of his work. He draws constantly. On Thursday, he even gave one of his pieces of artwork to a little girl in his class, Ella. When his big brother teased him and said, "JT has a girlfriend!" he turned to him and said, "NO! She is my SHARE friend! She shares with me!" soooo cute! I wish I had it on video when he gave the pictures to Ella. He was so cute and she really liked them too! My little Casanova!
And here is JT writing Eli's name. Mine is in black (upside down) and he used that to write his (in purple). My little guy is getting SO big!! Too big!!
The boys and I finally got a chance to use one of the gifts Aunt Trixie sent... Uck, Yuck, Worms in the Muck... Chocolate pudding with gummy worms and cookie crumbs. This is right up the boys alley... they love to make things. Taste test.
JT's dirt pudding
Eli has been grabbing at lots of things now. He loves to play and look at his toys, his brothers and whatever is by him. Here is a picture of him on the playmat grabbing for a froggy.
The other night the boys took a bath and Eli took one in his little tub next to them in the sink. After he joined them for a second in their big tub.
And then he got tired of it! :)
A different day... more playtime.
Sam and Otis... his BFF
The boys in our bed.. which is still against the interior wall from when I thought a tornado was going to hit us!! Not a great set up, but the boys think it is cool!
That was what happened last week with our crazy family!!
