Our Graduation Weekend with Ya-Ya and Poppy!

Sammy had his Lil' Einstein's Preschool graduation this weekend. It was a big deal! They wore a cap and gown and had the ceremony in a performing arts center. What made it even more special was that Ya-Ya and Poppy came down for it. The boys absolutely enjoyed their visit and miss them already. Thank you Ya-Ya and Poppy! It meant so much to all of us to have you here! XOXO

The Graduate.

The brothers. In front of Higley Performing Arts Center. The boys and Poppy.

Waiting for the ceremony to begin. Ya-Ya, Poppy and JTIt was really hard to get a good shot of Sam on stage because there were so many kids.... here are the best we had. If you are looking for it, you won't see Sam's signature smile! He never cracked a smile on stage once! He was a little nervous. We were in the front row and kept calling to him and waving and he never waved back. Later we asked him if he saw us. He said, "Yes, and I waved!" It was really funny to watch! We were all laughing.

Walking to get his diploma. He looked like Dead Man Walking! With his diploma. :)

They performed a couple of songs along with getting their diplomas. Here is a video clip of one of them. Celebrate Good Times!

Right here Sam is thinking.... "Phewww... It's Over!"
And, Smiling Sammy is back! :)
JT really wanted to wear the cap and gown. Sam was a good big brother and shared it after the ceremony. The boys here with Ya-Ya and Poppy. They were so happy to spend time with them!
Our family. :)
Ya-Ya and Poppy took us out to dinner at Gordon Beirsch for Sam's Gradutation. This is the only picture I have of it because, as usual, it was eventful. JT fell asleep not to long after this picture. But we all enjoyed our time together.
Otis really liked meeting Ya-Ya and Poppy too. I think Poppy made a life long friend! Otis would not leave him alone no matter how hard Poppy tried to get him away. So, of course, I had to get a picture!
One of their favorite parts of the weekend was Poppy's story telling. He had the boys' full attention when he told them and they kept begging him to tell more. Here are some pictures of "The Three Little Pigs." But I think their favorite was "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" by FAR! Shut up you.... ;) - Ya-Ya and Poppy know what I am talking about! LOL

Sam's School Spring Pictures

Hey guys - I need you to check out the pictures and get back to me on your favorites. Sam had another set of pictures for the spring. As usual, I can not decide because I think they all look adorable. But I may be a little biased! So let me know.

Oh, and not much to report here lately... hence no new blogs. We have just been winding down the school year and getting ready for Ya-Ya and Poppy to come visit!! We are enjoying the pool already and the boys are LOVIN' being little fish! Sam is swimming all over the place and JT is really getting the hang of it, too! He will be swimming by the end of the summer completely by himself!

We also booked our Rochester trip - June 22 - July 16! So all of you Rochester people will definitely have your fill of us!!

So... here are the pics. Let me know. You can comment right here on the blog by clicking the comment button or call/txt! :) I have to have my order in by Thurs. so let me know ASAP!

Last day with the Sickers, Take your Child to Work and "Precious"

Our last day with the Sickers...
We hung out by the pool and cooked out. The boys enjoyed their time so much with their family. Everyone was sad to see them go. Now, the boys want to go in the pool all the time and keep asking for Aunt Debbie, Uncle Tom, Cosie and Carly to take them swimming!

Aunt Debbie and JT - he is a little scared to swim by himself right now.

Uncle Tom; he really enjoyed hanging by the pool!
The boys hanging on Aunt Debbie
Sam and Carly goofing around.
JT wearing Daddy's goggles. He is such a little wise-guy!
Sam and Cosie. Messin' around as usual!
Cosie takin' off!

Even Otis went in the pool - Not by his choice!

We miss them already!!

Take your child to work day - Matt's work had take your child to work day this year and made a huge production out of it! It actually worked to our advantage because it was the day that everyone left so it gave the boys something to do to keep their mind off things.

They had their own badges, donuts, a building tour, balloon animals, face painting, Peter Piper Pizza, a group photo and a movie complete with popcorn and TWO drinks (as JT would tell you!)
JT was still sleeping when Daddy left for work, but Sam was awake so he went in with him.
In the car... :)
JT getting ready to head into work.

They even got a certificate for completing the day. I really hope this is an ANNUAL tradition, because the kids are going to expect it!

Precious - Matt's new nickname for Otis. Can you say, attached?!!

Matt wanted me to erase this pic because I told him I think I have pictures of him holding the boys the same way! Of course, I didn't!

That dog is still not sleeping through the night in his crate!!!! He is spoiled!

S'mores and Sedona

One of our favorite things to do is a fire and S'mores. So of course, the kids wanted to do this with their cousins.

I got made fun of for my "Carousel of S'mores." Guess who made fun of me...
Uncle Tom and Otis.
JT through the smoke of the fire.... very serious about roasting his marshmallow! :)

Yum... S'mores!

Carly and Otis. She wants to adopt one of his sisters before she leaves today. I don't think that is going to happen!
Sedona.

The Red Rock.

The car ride proved to be a bit much. Here is Cosie, Sam and Otis at the first scenic view.Carly doesn't let me get many pictures of her. :)

That's it. I will get some pics of the kids poolside to blog later. That is what they have been doing yesterday and today. My kids are already getting sad to see them go.
