Last day with the Sickers, Take your Child to Work and "Precious"

Our last day with the Sickers...
We hung out by the pool and cooked out. The boys enjoyed their time so much with their family. Everyone was sad to see them go. Now, the boys want to go in the pool all the time and keep asking for Aunt Debbie, Uncle Tom, Cosie and Carly to take them swimming!

Aunt Debbie and JT - he is a little scared to swim by himself right now.

Uncle Tom; he really enjoyed hanging by the pool!
The boys hanging on Aunt Debbie
Sam and Carly goofing around.
JT wearing Daddy's goggles. He is such a little wise-guy!
Sam and Cosie. Messin' around as usual!
Cosie takin' off!

Even Otis went in the pool - Not by his choice!

The boys
We miss them already!!

Take your child to work day - Matt's work had take your child to work day this year and made a huge production out of it! It actually worked to our advantage because it was the day that everyone left so it gave the boys something to do to keep their mind off things.

They had their own badges, donuts, a building tour, balloon animals, face painting, Peter Piper Pizza, a group photo and a movie complete with popcorn and TWO drinks (as JT would tell you!)
JT was still sleeping when Daddy left for work, but Sam was awake so he went in with him.
In the car... :)
JT getting ready to head into work.

They even got a certificate for completing the day. I really hope this is an ANNUAL tradition, because the kids are going to expect it!

Precious - Matt's new nickname for Otis. Can you say, attached?!!

Matt wanted me to erase this pic because I told him I think I have pictures of him holding the boys the same way! Of course, I didn't!

That dog is still not sleeping through the night in his crate!!!! He is spoiled!

S'mores and Sedona

One of our favorite things to do is a fire and S'mores. So of course, the kids wanted to do this with their cousins.

I got made fun of for my "Carousel of S'mores." Guess who made fun of me...
Uncle Tom and Otis.
JT through the smoke of the fire.... very serious about roasting his marshmallow! :)

Uncle Tom helping JT out.
Yum... S'mores!
Yum... S'mores!
Carly and Otis. She wants to adopt one of his sisters before she leaves today. I don't think that is going to happen!
Sedona.

The Red Rock.

The car ride proved to be a bit much. Here is Cosie, Sam and Otis at the first scenic view.Carly doesn't let me get many pictures of her. :)

That's it. I will get some pics of the kids poolside to blog later. That is what they have been doing yesterday and today. My kids are already getting sad to see them go.

Easter, The Farm, The Zoo and OTIS

Hey there! Just updating from the past week.
Starting with Easter and going up to yesterday when we got our new puppy, Otis.
It's a long one (I gotta get back to updating more frequently) Here ya go...
Easter -
5 dozen eggs from Costco to decorate and the boys could have done more!

Sam turned into the Hulk...
Easter weekend at Uncle Buddy's and Lindsay's. The boys got rockets from them... I think Daddy and Uncle Buddy had more fun with them!

Santa Monica Pier.

Sam did bungy jumping at the pier on a trampoline. He was like spider-man!

JT got sick of waiting for it so he rode the train.
The beach. Sam loves the beach. Eventhough it was cold and they were wearing jeans, they still enjoyed seeing the ocean and playing in the sand.Easter morning.
Easter egg hunt at the Andreson's. The boys had a great day.
We came home and had a field trip to Superstition Farms the next day. The boys loved getting up close to the animals.

JT feeding the goats.
The best part - fresh milk and ice cream from the cows!THE SICKERS VISIT!!
Our first day we went to the Zoo.

Sam was practicing his photography skills. All of the below animal pictures are taken by Sam.And on the 2nd Day... OTIS. We welcomed a new member into our family... spontaneously! A black chihuahua with a white patch on his chest. The boys were in love at first sight! Otis fit in Matt's cargo pocket in his shorts and they didn't even realize he was there at first.

What do you think?
